What to know
Team includes 1 custom domain and Business includes 5. You need to own the domain and add its DNS records. Fermium hosts your pages and files there; it doesn't route traffic to other apps.
Questions about custom domains
What do I need to connect a custom domain?
Choose a subdomain you control, such as docs.yourcompany.com, and add it in Settings, then Domains. Fermium shows a CNAME record to route traffic and a TXT record to verify ownership. Add both at your DNS provider, then select Verify. Team includes one custom domain and Business includes five.
What happens to HTTPS and links I already shared?
After DNS verification, Fermium requests an HTTPS certificate. When the first domain becomes active, it becomes the workspace's link host if none is already set. Existing documents are served from the custom hostname, and links previously shared on the Fermium content hostname continue to work.
Does my domain make restricted content public?
No. The domain changes the address; the document's access rules still apply. Restricted content still requires the appropriate sign-in and permissions. Use the domain for your workspace's documents and published folders. Your account settings and the main Fermium app remain on fermium.app.
