ConnectedAutomation

Give incoming issues somewhere to go.

Collect customer issues in a structured table and use an n8n webhook workflow to classify, route, or enrich each submission.

A complete worked example

Turn a useful support report into a triage candidate.

Support collects a broken download report, with an optional screenshot. An existing n8n workflow suggests a category for the team.

The configured handoff

Fermium sends the selected submission fields to n8n. The external flow handles classification and any authorized write-back. A screenshot reference needs separately authorized file access.

How it runs

  1. Collect useful contextAsk for the affected product, what happened, the impact, and a contact email.
  2. Trigger your workflowSend selected fields to an n8n Webhook node. Test the connection before switching to the published workflow URL.
  3. Keep the queue currentLet n8n classify the issue and write back through an authorized Fermium API connection. Review changes in database activity.
  4. You getA customer issue form, an editable triage queue, and an external workflow that can update records using authorized API access.

A prompt to start with

Copy this into your AI tool after connecting it to Fermium. Replace the bracketed details and let it ask for the context it needs.

Create a customer issue form and a triage table in Support. Collect contact email, product, issue details, and impact; keep priority and status internal. Ask me for an n8n webhook URL and the fields allowed to leave Fermium. Send completed submissions to that workflow. Provide setup instructions for n8n to classify the issue and update the record using an authorized Fermium API connection. Use synthetic test data and show me the delivery history.

What this workflow needs

Requires Fermium outbound webhooks and a reachable n8n endpoint. The n8n workflow and its API credentials must be configured separately. Private-network endpoints follow your deployment's webhook policy.

Will repeated webhook deliveries create repeated actions?

Webhook delivery is at least once. Configure the receiving workflow to deduplicate by event ID before sending messages or creating external records.
