Plans and limits

Free, Team, Business and Enterprise, with storage, member and domain limits and what each unlocks.

Plans apply to a workspace, not to individual users. There is no per-seat pricing. The visible meter is storage; the other axis is company controls.

What is the same on every plan

All document kinds (HTML, markdown, snippets, files, video and audio), Restricted, link and password access, sharing with people and the whole workspace, stable URLs with update in place, folders, tags and stars, aliases and wiki links, curated icons and emoji, My documents and General, the navigator with index pages, manual order and shortcuts, one workspace agent as agent memory with proposals and review, a personal agent for every member, search and grep across your documents, exact edits and patches, the browser editor with edit leases and version-checked saves, versions with compare and restore, the expiry warning email with one-click keep, self-serve export and account deletion, the MCP server for any client, headless tokens, and keep-forever retention. A Free workspace is limited by space and lacks the company features; it is not time-limited.

Shared-page branding

Shared HTML pages and forms on Free include a small Shared with Fermium footer badge linking to Fermium. The badge uses the plan of the workspace that owns the document (the root's workspace for shared-root documents). Upgrading to Team or above removes the automatic badge on the next page load. Downgrading restores it. Published source, exports, raw files, PDFs, images and media bytes are unchanged. Existing attribution written into a document itself remains part of its content. The badge does not change document access or search indexing.

Storage

Storage includes the current version of live documents, secure items and stored Agent transcripts in the workspace. A document in a root counts against the root's workspace. Expired documents count until soft deletion; soft-deleted documents and secure items no longer count. Historical document versions and backup replicas are not added to this customer-facing meter.

The standard Enterprise allowance is 5 TiB (shown as 5 TB on the pricing card). An operator can record a negotiated allowance. Prepaid add-ons increase included capacity. Without opted-in usage billing, storage growth above the included allowance is blocked; existing documents remain readable and can be removed or reduced.

Paid workspace owners can enable additional storage usage when billing is available, accepting the displayed rate and a monthly spending limit. See storage usage billing. Overage billing never turns on automatically after an upgrade or migration.

Storage add-ons are 50 GiB per unit, bought through Checkout as a quantity-adjustable subscription item on top of any plan. Settings, then General shows used against cap and the add-on count.

Members

Free workspaces hold two people, Team 25, Business 50. Enterprise has no enforced cap. Pending invites count against the cap until they are accepted or expire. See Members and roles.

Custom domains

Team gets one hostname, Business five, Enterprise as many as needed. Adding a domain beyond the limit fails with a 402. See Custom domains.

Roots, agents, wiki and icons

Every plan has My documents, General, one workspace agent and a personal agent for every member.

  • Shared roots. Creating a shared root beyond General needs Team or above. The limit is 200 per workspace.
  • Access lists. Individual and whole-workspace sharing on documents and shared folders works on every plan. Group grants require Team or above; agent access-list writes require Business or above. Reading and removing grants remain available after downgrading. General has an explicit workspace/edit grant; new shared spaces start restricted to managers.
  • Agents. Free allows 1 workspace agent, Team 5, Business and above any number. Personal agents do not count.
  • Publishing a folder. Turning Published on, or changing who can read a published folder, needs Team or above. Turning it off works on every plan. Publishing for one group also needs groups, which are Team and above. On Business and above the workspace policy can limit folder sites to signed-in readers or turn them off.

Each of these refuses with a 402 and a message that names the plan. Only new changes are checked: roots, access list entries, agents and published folders that already exist keep working after a downgrade, and nothing is removed.

Team and above add the uploaded SVG icon library and search-engine indexing on an active custom domain. Indexing refuses to turn on without a paid plan and an active domain.

Business

Team includes groups and Google Workspace membership sync. Business adds agent access lists, a workspace policy, the audit log, webhooks and SSO. Below Business, these return a 402 that names the plan.

Enterprise

Enterprise adds legal hold, the IP allowlist and SCIM provisioning, with an SLA and invoicing. It is sold with a dedicated instance operated by Fermium. Email hello@fermium.app.

File activity retention

Every plan includes Activity and Traffic with permission-filtered daily totals. Detail includes viewer identities and IP observations; aggregate totals do not.

Plan Detailed activity Daily totals
Free None 90 days
Team 7 days 365 days
Business 30 days 730 days
Enterprise 90 days 1,095 days

Cleanup prunes old detail while preserving totals until their longer window ends. Downgrades apply immediately to queries; upgrades cannot restore pruned history. This retention is separate from document expiry and security audit history.
